80 students (Class 8 and 9) and 8 teachers from 4 Government schools (Zila Parishad High School, Serilingampally; TSWREIS, Gowlidoddi; Kendriya Vidyala, University of Hyderabad campus; Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Ranga Reddy District)
Venue: TIFRH Auditorium and Seminar Hall
Program: 2:15 PM to 5: 30 PM
2:15 to 2:30 PM: Arrival and Introductory session
2:30 to 3:30 PM: “School Science: At your fingertips” – Demonstration of Physics and Biology concepts through models made of frequently available materials.
3:30 to 4:30 PM: Refreshment break
4:30 to 5:30 PM: Popular Science talk “Through two doors at once?” by Prof. N.D Hari Das with demonstration of Young’s double slit experiment.
