Anukul Jana did his PhD research in the group of Professor Herbert W. Roesky at University of G\u00f6ttingen, Germany and obtained the doctorate degree in 2009. His doctoral thesis focused on the chemistry of compounds with low-valent Group 14 elements. He did his first postdoctoral research work as a Alexander von Humboldt fellow in the group of Professor Paul Knochel, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universit\u00e4t, Germany. Later on he moved to pursue his second post doctoral research in the group of Professor David Scheschkewitz, Universit\u00e4t des Saarlandes, Germany. In March 2014, Anukul joined the TCIS Hyderabad as a new faculty member.
