<\/span><\/p>\n In recent years, there has been growing interest in low-valent main Group elements owing to their application potential as reductants, unusual ligands, and precursors of nanomaterials and other novel molecular complexes. The current trend in low-valent main Group chemistry is to design compounds, capable of showing a reactivity such as small molecule activation and catalysis, which was previously reserved for transition metal complexes.<\/span><\/p>\n Our research is centered on the preparative molecular chemistry of the main Group elements (<\/span>Group 13-15 elements)<\/span>.
