Let\u2019s begin at the beginning. I went to school at the South Point High School in Calcutta and did my bachelors in Physics from the Presidency College, Calcutta. I was an Integrated-Ph.D. student with Prof. G. V. Shivashankar when he was at the National Centre for Biological Sciences \u2013 Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (NCBS \u2013 TIFR) in Bangalore. There I discovered the wonderfulness of Biology and my M.Sc. degree is in Biology. Then I was a postdoc with Prof. Leona D. Samson and Prof. Mark Bathe at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, MA till the end of December 2014, and that was a great learning experience and fun. And then from the very end of January 2015 onwards I have been at the TIFR Centre for Interdisciplinary Sciences (TCIS), TIFR Hyderabad. These are exciting times.<\/p>\n
