I did my B.Sc. honors in Physics from Sri Venkateswara College, University of Delhi, Delhi, and my M.Sc. in Physics from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. I joined TIFR Hyderabad in 2020 as a regular PhD student. I am currently working in the broad field of glassy dynamics.<\/span><\/p>\n

Satyam Pandey<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

I did my B.Sc in Physics from Banaras Hindu University, Uttar Pradesh. I joined TIFR Hyderabad in 2020 as an Integrated Ph.D. student. I am interested in the field of biological physics. Currently, I am working on the static and dynamic properties of epithelial systems. My non-academic interests are sports and traveling.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tanmoy Ghosh<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

I joined TIFR Hyderabad in 2021 as a regular PhD student. I am working towards developing a mesoscopic elastoplastic model to investigate the glassy dynamics in active systems. I am also interested in the rheological properties and fluidization in confluent cellular systems.<\/span><\/p>\n

Soumitra Kolya<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

I joined TIFR Hyderabad in 2021 as an integrated PhD student. I am working on various problems in the diverse fields of active matter and biological physics. I am interested in the mode-coupling theory of active glassy dynamics, and the cell competition from the perspective of the early stage of carcinoma initiation.<\/span><\/p>\n
