This year, the <a href=\"https:\/\/events.tifrh.res.in\/soft2024\/\">symposium<\/a> is being held at TIFR Hyderabad. Here are some highlights from the event. Although the two cell populations are similar in genetic make-up, what factors push these cells towards different fates? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bits-pilani.ac.in\/hyderabad\/dr-shambojit-roy\/\">Shambojit Roy<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bits-pilani.ac.in\/hyderabad\/\">BITS Hyderabad<\/a>) discussed the development of <em>in vitro<\/em> models (which mimic a tumour microenvironment) to take a closer look at the migration of engineered immune cells towards cancerous cells.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure
