Raman\u2019s lab have assembled a powerful cryo-Scanning Tunneling Microscope (STM), without the need of expensive liquid Helium. Additionally, this set-up is coupled with two components: a strong superconducting magnet, and a transfer system that keeps the sample in ultra high vacuum conditions.
