1. Dashboard Registration
All users are required to register on the Dashboard portal as part of the onboarding process. During registration, users must provide their employment details and select a unique username. Upon successful registration, they will receive credentials that grant access to various TIFRH services, including Wi-Fi, Eduroam, VPN, and more. This also enables personalized webview access on TIFRH websites.
2. Wi-Fi Access
To use the Wi-Fi network, users must register their device’s MAC ID either through the online portal or by visiting the IT office. Once approved, internet access will be granted.
3. Email Provisioning
All users on the TIFR payroll will be assigned an institutional email ID. They will also be added to relevant mailing groups based on their designation.
4. Access Control
Biometric enrollment is mandatory for access control systems. Each enrollment will be associated with an expiry date to ensure timely renewal.
5. ID Card Issuance
TIFRH payroll users will receive an RFID-based ID card, which is linked to the access control system for secure entry.
6. Printer Access
To use the library printer, users must first register for a printer account and link their RFID card to the printer server. Once registered, they can print and scan documents directly to their institutional email.
