Meeting Goals
This meeting will be the sixth in the series of "NMR Meets Biology" meetings. This iteration of the meeting is being jointly organized by TIFR Hyderabad and IIT Bombay. A brief history of the meeting can be found here.
This iteration of the meeting will focus on the state-of-the-art solid- and solution-state NMR methods to tackle challenging issues in biology, as well as non-traditional magnetic resonance techniques such as spectroscopy using NV-centers. There will be dedicated tutorial sessions on the basics of NMR spectroscopy and its application in studying proteins, as well as practical tutorials on chemical-shift assignment techniques. Additionally, there will sessions dedicated to computational calculations to predict chemical shifts. The research talks will be given by scientists working on cutting-edge problems in various aspects of magnetic resonance.
