6th NMR Meets Biology Meeting (2026)

Jan 25th [17:00 hrs] - Jan 31st [09:00 hrs], 2026
Samrudhii Resort, Gokurna, Goa, India

Meeting Goals

This meeting will be the sixth in the series of "NMR Meets Biology" meetings. A brief history of the meeting can be found here.

This iteration of the meeting will focus on the state-of-the-art solid- and solution-state NMR methods to tackle challenging issues in biology, as well as non-traditional magnetic resonance techniques such as spectroscopy using NV-centers. There will be dedicated tutorial sessions on the basics of NMR spectroscopy and its application in studying proteins, as well as practical tutorials on chemical-shift assignment techniques. Additionally, there will sessions dedicated to complementary techniques such as Fluorescence Spectroscopy and computational calculations to predict chemical shifts. The research talks will be given by scientists working on cutting-edge problems in various aspects of magnetic resonance.

Registration

The number of participants will be limited to 85. These include ~30 scientists from India and abroad and ~55 students. The registration fee for attending the meeting is 600 euros for PIs from outside of India, Rs. 10000 for PIs from India, Euro 300 for students from outside India, and Rs. 6000 for students from India. The registration fee will cover the accommodation and food expenses for the duration of the meeting. Instructions for registration are provided here.
